Membership Invitation Letter
Dear colleague,
On behalf of the board of directors, I thank you for your
support of the Society of Iranian Professionals (SIP) of Texas. I would like to cordially invite you to
start your membership in SIP. Please
fill out the enclosed application form and return it to me, or to any of the
members of the board, or by mail addressed to SIP. We appreciate it, if you would extend this membership
invitation to your friends and provide them with copies of the application
form.
SIP belongs to its members.
It is empowered by them and exists because of them. Society's income is produced by admission
fees to the meetings, special events, and your contributions. This income dictates the extent of
services that SIP can provide. Major
events, such as the New Year ceremonies and special banquets honoring
scholars like: Prof. L. A. Zadeh, Prof. F. Reza, and Prof. E. Yarshater could
only take place by receiving support and contributions from generous Iranian
professionals and businesses in the Houston metropolitan area.
SIP has received numerous compliments, acknowledgements, and
suggestions from Iranian and non-Iranian professionals for its goals and
achievements. We appreciate all these
encouraging words and are aware that much more needs to be done in order to
sustain Society’s position and to enhance its activities as a high quality
professional society in this community.
It is our goal to continue to provide high quality programs as
expected by our members and guests.
Increasing the number of active members and making more resources
available to SIP can achieve this goal.
Please take a moment to review the Bylaws, principals, and
activities during the past years.
Consider what SIP stands for, what it has achieved, what it needs, and
what role it can play for the Iranian community in the society.
We count on your support, and that of other members and
supporters, to help and encourage us in making SIP's goals and your needs
come true. We look forward to having
you as a member.
Sincerely,
Director of Membership
